ADVENTURE RACING

SOAR provides services in course design and race management for adventure racing. Additionally, SOAR offers training for new adventure racers and those who want to give it a try.

If you enjoy the outdoors, overcoming obstacles and challenging yourself, adventure racing is the sport for you.

Our next adventure race is the GATOR -- Great Adventure Trial on the Oleta River.  6 November 2011 in Oleta State Park.  If you are from the area, you probably know that Oleta is a gem, a patch of wilderness that includes mangrove tunnels, the Oleta River, the IntraCoastal Waterway, beaches, and some of the best single track trails anywhere.  The race will be 6-8 hours in length and feature paddling (canoes or kayaks), orienteering/running and, of course, cycling, as well as special challenges.  If there is demand, we will include kids' races, and an adventure run.
